Part 4.

A rude Awakening.

Daniel awoke in the arms of the man he had just make love to last night to the sound of pounding on the front door.

He flicked on the light.

He felt frightened and scared and a woke Stephanie's husband to go and see what was going on.

Stephanie's husband climbed out of bed pulled on his shorts and headed down the stairs.

He did not know what he was going to find at the front door but he did not expect it to be several armed police officers and FBI agents.

They had an arrest warrant for his wife and a search warrant for his house.

After finding out where Stephanie was two female agent went upstairs to affect the arrest.

Daniel still in bed not known what was going on was surprised when two female agent walk through the bedroom door and announce that she was under arrest.

They told her to quickly get dressed before placing the handcuffs on her and leading her downstairs out of the front door to awaiting van.

Daniel pleaded his innocence and tried to explain to them that she was not who they thought she was.

He tried to tell them that he was really a man called Daniel and that the other day he had swapped bodies with a woman called Stephanie at his wife's office the other day.

Of course that sounded absolutely crazy and as he sat in the back of the van frightened cold and wondering what was going to happen next regretted saying it.

After almost 2 hours in the van he was led out into a cold concrete building.

He was led into an interrogation room and handcuffed to the table.

Two men walked into the room both wearing black suits black sunglasses and an angry look on their face sat across the table from him.

They have so much evidence against her.

They told him all sorts of things he did not know about?

They asked him why he had betrayed his country?

They demanded to know who was the partners in this?

By now he was completely confused and completely bewildered by it all.

Even after hooking him up to a polygraph and finding out what he was saying was true would not believe it.

As far as they were concerned he was Stephanie industrial spy and scientist.

For the next six weeks he was in world of complete and utter misery.

When they were not interviewing him he was locked in a cold dark cell with little comfort and terrible food.

His interrogators were getting more and more frustrated with him as they found they could not break him.

They were getting to the point where they were going to use drastic measures but that all changed after she collapsed during one of their interviews and their medical officer discovered that she was pregnant.

With her/his mental state deteriorating and the pregnancy they decided the best thing for her was to lock her away for the rest of her natural life in a mental hospital where she could get the treatment she so desperately needed.
